Day 5 – Jaipur

Another early rise at 4:30 am to depart for a bicycle tour in Jaipur. But you say, “Isn’t the traffic really bad and maybe dangerous?” Naw, we ain’t scared! But wow – we sure had fun!

Feeding the wandering cows is a morning tradition – and that good deed is supposed to bring a Hindu good karma. So we tried it, too!

Then we got some sweet tea from a popular street vendor – quite good!
The clay cups are actually one use disposables.
Continued our ride through a park area
A group panorama
A palace downtown designed specifically for royal women so they could watch the happenings in the street, while not being seen by commoners
And tossed flower petals to close our yoga session!

We rode on one of the most colorful places in India – a market.

We also attended a Hindu religious service
Tried to avoid running over any cows along the way..,

Following a free time afternoon, the group headed out for some Bollywood dance lessons and dinner! Yes, it was fun, yes, some of us looked inept, and yes, there are videos. OMG!

A short & witty ending…

Home is where the Wi-Fi connects automatically, but the best stories happen where it doesn’t.
